HaloChat follows a privacy-first, decentralized architecture.
Account identity and wallet data are not stored on centralized servers but rely on local and cloud backup mechanisms.
Your recovery options depend on your backup status.
Scenario 1: App Uninstalled, Cloud Backup Still Exists
If you only uninstall the HaloChat app but your cloud backup data remains intact:
- Reinstall HaloChat
- Log in using your original login method (e.g., Google authorization login)
The system will automatically:
- Retrieve your cloud backup
- Restore your account identity
- Restore your default wallet
- Restore related configurations
No additional manual action is required.
Scenario 2: Cloud Backup Was Deleted
If both:
- The app was uninstalled
- Cloud backup data was deleted
Then the original account cannot be recovered.
Because HaloChat uses decentralized and local storage mechanisms:
- Account identity
- Wallet information
- Private keys
are not stored on HaloChat servers.
If local and cloud backups are permanently deleted, the platform cannot restore the data.
You must register a new HaloChat account.
Scenario 3: Account Was Officially Deleted
If you voluntarily requested and completed account deletion:
- The account and all associated data are permanently erased.
- Logging in again with the same authorization method will only create a new account.
- Previous chat history, wallet bindings, and configurations cannot be restored.
Important Reminder
Before:
- Uninstalling the app
- Deleting cloud backup data
- Performing account deletion
Please carefully confirm the consequences and ensure backup information is securely stored.
Due to HaloChat’s decentralized design and privacy-first architecture, once critical data is lost, it cannot be manually recovered or reset.
Control of your account identity and crypto wallet ultimately belongs to you.
