HaloChat allows you to manage notifications individually for specific contacts or groups.
To configure notification settings for a particular chat:
- Open the private chat or group chat.
- Tap the “...” icon in the top-right corner.
- Enter Chat Settings.
- Select Mute Notifications to disable alerts for that specific conversation.
After muting:
- You will still see unread message counts in the chat list.
- However, system push notifications will not be triggered.
If you wish to restore notifications, return to the same settings page and disable Mute Notifications.
This feature allows you to prioritize important conversations while minimizing distractions from less urgent chats.
