To enhance privacy protection, you can adjust notification display settings so message content is not fully shown on your device screen.
Mobile Devices (Android / iOS)
- Open HaloChat → Settings → Notifications.
- In notification display style, choose options such as:
- Show only “New Message”
- Show “Someone sent a message”
- Disable message preview to prevent showing sender name or message content.
Web Version
In your browser notification settings, configure HaloChat notifications to show only a general alert without displaying message content.
By limiting notification previews, HaloChat helps you receive timely alerts while preventing message details from being easily visible to others, strengthening your privacy protection.
