In HaloChat, you retain full control over your personal information. All messages and multimedia content are safeguarded through End-to-End Encryption (E2EE), meaning data is encrypted at the sender’s device and decrypted only at the recipient’s device. Servers do not have access to plaintext content.
Within its Web3 architecture, your identity and wallet credentials are managed directly by your device or on-chain keys. HaloChat does not retain chat histories, wallet information, user profiles, or other personally identifiable data.
You may delete your account at any time, after which all associated data within the system will be permanently removed, allowing you to fully disengage from the platform.
The system retains only a minimal amount of de-identified technical logs necessary to ensure service security and operational stability. Such data is not used for behavioral analysis or user profiling, ensuring that your information remains under your control at all times.
